V-Guard Industries expands presence in North India

Opens branch office in Varanasi; to focus on market consolidation. V-Guard Industries Ltd., country’s leading electrical and electronics major, in line with its long-term growth strategy for the Northern Indian market, today announced the opening of its third branch office in U.P. The branch office located at Panditpur, PO Jagatpur in Varanasi was inaugurated by Mr. Sumit Jha, GM Marketing, V-Guard Industries Ltd. along with Mr. Vinod Aggarwal - Proprietor of Raksha House (V-Guard Distributor). The Varanasi branch will undertake marketing, SCM, commercial activities and customer services pertaining to Eastern U.P. The new office will cater to prime markets like Allahabad, Azamgarh, Gorakphpur, Deoria, Basti, Faizabad, Baharaich, Sonbhadra, Ballia etc. The branch office will function under the supervision of Regional Head for business functions with a 20-member team.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sumit Jha, GM - Marketing, V-Guard Industries Ltd said, “The northern region has always been a very important market for us and the Varanasi branch reaffirms our commitment towards the region. The new branch will enhance our capability to serve the Eastern Region of U.P. At V-Guard, we always endeavour to strengthen our business and reach out to our discerning customers across India and this is a significant step in that direction”.

This will be V-Guard’s 30th branch office across India.

V-Guard recently commissioned one of the largest solar water heaters manufacturing facility in the country, in Perundurai, Tamil Nadu. In an attempt to expand the brand reach, V-Guard is currently working to increase the market share of non-south markets by offering a full range of products in lower and middle segments. The company also recently launched a brand new range of water heaters - Pebble, in the country.
