Recently, Sri.Kochouseph registered a trust in his father's name for giving a helping hand to the poor and the needy.
All the group companies are making substantial donations to the trust. Apart from providing financial assistance to needy charitable/social organizations, the trust has provided health insurance to 3607 selected families in Kunnathunadu panchayat in Ernakulam District, Parappur village in Trissur District and Rmanagaram Taluk in Bangalore. The trust also sponsors 200 children from poor families, providing financial help for their education and other primary needs in Parappur village, Trissur District the native village of Sri.Kochouseph Chittilappilly. It also conducts medical camps mainly in rural areas, and provides all sorts of financial assistance to the needy through charitable institutions like Udavum Karangal etc.
A long cherished ambition of the Trust was realized recently, with the opening of an Old Age Home at Parappur, near Thrissur in Kerala State. Named 'Shanthimandiram’, the Home has excellent facilities to house 60 inmates, and it will provide quality care, free of cost, to senior citizens who are unable to support themselves.
