Contest Phases

The Big Idea Contest has 5 phases

Phase I: Registration (13th July 2018 - 17th August 2018 )

Each team should register online, between 13th July 2018 & 17th August 2018 followed by payment through online mode before 17th August 2018. Transaction details (including transaction id) should be sent to the below mentioned mail ID.


Participation fee should be remitted online with deposit title ‘Big Idea 2018’:

Teams are requested to mention the Transaction ID, Bank name, Branch Address & a copy of acknowledgment for the payment (screenshot) over the mail to

Participation Fee: Rs 1000/- per team from a college

Team Requirements: The number of members in a team should not exceed 3


Phase II: Online Briefing

An online brief will be sent to all the registered teams.


Phase III: Project Submission (22nd August 2018 11:59 pm)

All the teams will have to submit an executive summary & full project online on or before 22nd August 2018 11:59 pm


Phase IV: Declaration of Finalists (28th August 2018)

Top 20 teams will be shortlisted based on the reports submitted. The teams shortlisted will be intimated through their mail ID and announced online


Phase V: Business Plan Contest Finals (14th & 15th September 2018)

The teams will make an oral presentation before the judges on 14th & 15th September 2018
